Planning for 2024
We plan to continue to evolve Future of Cities to hone in on thought provoking topics, celebrate innovation, and foster peer networks - together.
The goal is to build off of our strengths. Your feedback, as a past organizer or participant, is crucial to our planning process. If you have any notes or ideas for next year you'd like to share, please do! We're all ears.
We invite you to brainstorm the 2024 Conference Theme with us. The goal is to establish the theme by Summer 2023, so that we can hit the ground running on designing panels and keynotes this Fall.

We are so excited to welcome back conference alumni and meet those interested in joining us next year. If you ever have any questions feel free to reach out!
This summer we start with writing the content note, booking the venue on campus, and reaching out to internal and external partnerships. We will also organize our shared drive.
Build Out Team
We will solicit applications for the executive board as well as conference staff the first week of September. The goal is to have everybody onboarded by the end of the month.
Before winter break, the goal is to have our speakers lined so that we can start marketing asap. We want to sell tickets the first week of January 2024.
October 2, 2023
We will host our first kick-off meeting before Fall break on October 2nd or 3rd.
Tentatively, we plan to host the 2024 Future of Cities conference on campus on Friday, February 23rd, with a signature keynote speaker the evening before.
